Celebrating Progress in Disability Access
In October, we brought together the cultural sector and disability community for the Disability Access Summit, followed by the opening of Shape Arts’ annual exhibition Rights, Cuts, Action. The day created space for honest conversation, shared learning and collective reflection — celebrating what’s working while recognising where more needs to be done.
In collaboration with the National Paralympic Heritage Trust, we commissioned a short film to capture this moment and to spotlight the work already taking place across Buckinghamshire to improve disability access in culture. Through the voices and experiences of people with lived experience, the film reflects both progress made and the importance of continuing the journey.
Watch the film and explore how organisations across Bucks are working towards a more accessible and inclusive cultural sector.
