Art Workshop: Explore the Amazing Art of Needle Felting

Explore themes of storytelling and nature, take inspiration from a Surrealist artist and learn a new technique to express your creativity.

This workshop looks at the unique and captivating art of needle felting – a medium that many people have never experienced before.

In this workshop, participants will explore themes of storytelling and nature. We’ll begin with a group brainstorming session, taking inspiration from a Surrealist artist whose work is rooted in narrative and the natural world. We will experiment with the wool, building confidence with the material before we begin.

From there, participants will bring their ideas to life through needle felting, learning a new technique while expressing their creativity in a supportive and engaging environment.

Whether working independently or collaboratively, each participant will leave with a sense of pride in their original, tactile artwork – and perhaps a new passion for this wonderfully imaginative art form.

Accessibility: The workshop will be on the first floor of the Town Hall. The Town Hall can be accessed by car from Catlings Car Park (a short-stay, pay and display car park (maximum stay 4 hours) operated by Buckinghamshire Council), or on foot from the High Street through Baines Walk.
