Overwhelm: Manage Stress, Relieve Anxiety: Emotional Freedom Techniques

As the nights draw in and the year nears its end, many of us in the cultural and creative sector feel the pace quicken. November often brings one of the busiest stretches in our calendars — with projects to wrap up, events to deliver, and festive visitors to welcome.

In response to requests from across the sector for more wellbeing support, Bucks Culture is offering a moment to pause and reset before the winter season.

Join us on Thursday 27 November 2025 for an interactive wellbeing workshop with EFT Master Trainer Tamara Donn, exploring methods of stress relief by tapping acupressure points on the body.

Timed at the end of International Stress Awareness Month and ahead of the festive period, this session offers space to reconnect with calm and clarity before winter’s demands take over.

 

What is EFT?

EFT, sometimes called “tapping”, involves gently tapping on specific acupressure points while focusing on thoughts or emotions. This simple practice can help regulate the body’s stress response, calm the nervous system, and bring a greater sense of balance, both personally and professionally.

 

What to Expect

During this guided, interactive workshop, you’ll:

  • Learn how EFT “tapping” can ease tension in the body and mind
  • Experience a live practice to gently release feelings of overwhelm
  • Discover how to use this technique to stay grounded and centred through busy periods

No prior experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and an open mind!
