Summer Garden: The Story of the Leaf Cutter Bee – Free Kids Art Workshop

Discover the incredible story of the Leaf Cutter Bee through art and imagination in this free, hands-on workshop for children, led by local artist Fiona Ryan-Watson.

In this fun and creative session, children will learn about one of nature’s tiny marvels while creating their own visual storybook to take home. Using watercolour pencils, brushes and a touch of sparkle (with a sprinkle of magic Brusho powder!), each child will bring the story of the Leaf Cutter Bee to life through drawing, colour blending and painting techniques.

Designed to inspire curiosity about nature and encourage artistic expression, the workshop offers a relaxed and supportive space for young artists to learn new skills and explore the wonders of the natural world.

All materials are provided, and no experience is needed – just a sense of fun and a love for storytelling through art.
